Many people were vocal at the Greenfield City Council Meeting on Tuesday night, September 25 regarding the appeal of the City of Greenfield Planning Commission's Adoption of a Resolution approving the design review for the development of a 168-unit high density Agricultural worker employee housing project located at 360 Walnut Avenue. After over 40 minutes of public comments, the Council approved to continue the public hearing until their next regular session in October. Later in the meeting the Council passed unanimously to make interim City Manager Paul Wood the permanent City Manager for the City of Greenfield effective immediately. The Greenfield Fire Department also officially became a part of the city operations as a badge pinning ceremony took place for all of the firefighters who were in attendance.
