A car fire sparked on Highway 101 Southbound near Old Stage
Road in Gonzales on Wednesday morning, June 20. The Gonzales Fire Department reports
that the fire broke out at around 4:26 am on a mid-size sedan and it took the
GFD 20 minutes extinguish the blaze. No information was provided regarding
whether anyone was injured at all or not. The cause of the fire is unknown.
