The Gonzales Unified School District held a Special meeting
on Monday night, April 16 in the High School Library. The Board approved 4-0
in closed session that they will be hiring an interim Superintendent for a 15

that in a timely manner to replace Liz Modena who was let go last week. During the
public comment period GHS Math teacher Arin Millett submitted her resignation
to accept an Instructional Math Coach position at Greenfield and King City High

fill an open Board position, but deliberated again and after almost 20 minutes of discussion, approved 4-0 to appoint Flores to fill the Board seat until this November.
