Trash can fire knocked down at Paso Robles residence

PASO ROBLES, CA – At approximately 7:48pm on Sunday night, February 11 the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to a residence on Angus Street for a reported trash can fire that had been extinguished by the resident.
The initial crew reported heavy smoke coming from attic vents above the garage area and a structure fire response was initiated. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to 1 garage wall and the attic space above the garage, limiting the heat and smoke damage throughout the residence. The residence was occupied at the time of the fire. No firefighters or community members were injured. 2 fire engines and 1 Battalion Chief from Paso Robles responded. Under the City’s automatic aid agreements, 1 fire engine and 1 Battalion Chief from CAL FIRE/SLO
County, 1 fire engine from Templeton Fire and 1 fire engine from Atascadero Fire
immediately responded. A total of 16 firefighters were required to bring the situation under control. Additional assistance was provided by the Paso Robles Police Department and San Luis Ambulance Service. The fire was contained at approximately 8:15pm on Sunday night, February 11. The cause of the fire is still under investigation

3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
