Mandatory Evacuations Ordered in Paso Robles & 2 Evacuations Centers are Being Opened



PASO ROBLES, CA –On Monday, June 22 evacuations have been ordered due to a fire that broke near the Salinas Riverbed earlier in the afternoon. The fire broke out at about 1:55 p.m. The flames have jumped South River Road, prompting evacuations. The evacuation has been ordered in the area bound by South River Road, Navajo Road, Union Road and Walnut/Bolen Drive. Two evacuation centers are being opened at the Paso Robles Veteran’s Hall, 240 Scott St and the Senior Center, 270 Scott Street.

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
