Felony hit & run accident in Northern SLO County

On Thursday morning, October 11 at 5:00 am, 22-year-old Nathaniel Weatherly of San Miguel, but who was a local transcient living in Northern San Luis Obispo County was attempting to walk or run across US-101, North of the 13th Street Over crossing in the Paso Robles city limits when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that was driving southbound on 101. The vehicle continued driving and left the scene without notifying law enforcement or emergency services of the collision. Weatherly suffered fatal injuries as a result of this collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. Southbound 101 was closed and traffic was diverted off at 17th Street in Paso Robles, to allow the CHP to investigate. The traffic on northbound 101 was not effected by this collision or the subsequent investigation. Southbound 101 was re-opened at 7:20 am. 3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
