Burglar robs 2 females in King City home

On Wednesday, August 22 at 5:20pm officers with the King City Police Department responded to the 100 block of River Drive in regards to a burglary that occurred. The preliminary investigation revealed that a suspect described as a hispanic male in his late 20s standing 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall weighing from 160 to 180 pounds with dark bushy eyebrows and a thin dark mustache, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, a red and blue baseball cap and black pants entered a residence occupied by 2 female juveniles stealing miscellaneous items and left the residence. Detectives from the King City Investigations Unit were called to investigate the incident. The ensuing investigation revealed that the suspect entered the residence through a side door and startled the 2 female juveniles inside the residence. The suspect directed the females to a room in the residence and had them stay in place. The suspect then took some items from the females and fled the residence on foot. The suspect was last seen running in a southwesterly direction from the residence. No injuries were sustained by the juveniles. An area check by patrol officers did not locate the suspect and he is still outstanding. No further information is being released at this time. 3 Vehicle Wreck on Highway 101 Outside of King City on December 26

  A 3 vehicle accident happened on Highway 101 Northbound near the Central Avenue exit outside of King City at 12:07 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 26. One of the vehicles overturned as a result of the crash. Minor injuries were reported from the collision. 

Greenfield Man Arrested for November 26 Attempted Murder Incident in King City

  On November 26, 2024, at approximately 4:05 PM, officers from the King City Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of Broadway Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been shot multiple times and was transported by family members to a local hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening wounds. Through investigation, detectives identified a possible suspect vehicle. A subject associated to that vehicle was contacted and later arrested for his involvement in the shooting. He is identified as 20-year-old Adrian Justo of Greenfield. Justo was booked into Monterey County Jail for attempted murder. There is no additional information at this time and the investigation is on-going.
