It may have been wet early in the morning, but it cleared up
just in time for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of baseball and
softball fields at the new Jesse Gallardo Park in Soledad on Saturday, April 7. The cost of the project was over $2.3 million and was made possible through redevelopment agency funds along with parks impact fees and other funding. Bellinger and Foster helped design the fields, while Sandstone Construction was the contractor and Harrison and Associates provided construction management on the project.
